The ULMs/ULAs web portal, www.ulms.eu.org, was created in February 2001 in Luxembourg to provide a pan-european support to individuals interested with Ultralight aircrafts.

We intended to provide free help to people needing a place for :

• their (not for profit) organization or individual web site
• email adress
• and the like.

We are working, at the moment, on the skeleton of the portal, please be patient :-)

Are in the U.L.M. / U.L.A. category all the aircrafts with these characteristics :

• Can carry maximum 2 people, pilote included.
• Net mass under 150 kg or under 175 kg depending number of seats and category,
  e.a. 450kg maximal takeoff weight for a twoseater.
• Wing surface (in square meters) of more then : net mass / 10 and more then 10 m˛.

There are 5 CLASSES of U.L.M. / U.L.A. :

1. Paramotors
2. Pendulaires also called DPMs
3. Multi-axes
4. Autogires
5. Ultra light balloons
